Following an extensive conservation and restoration programme, it reopened in 2023, reclaiming its place as one of the city's most significant cultural landmarks. While continuing its centuries-old tradition as a Turkish bath, the restored complex now brings together a museum, cultural initiatives, and heritage experiences in a setting where history and contemporary life meet.

Located in the historic Zeyrek district, this extraordinary monument was commissioned by Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha, Grand Admiral of the Ottoman Navy, during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and designed by the legendary architect Mimar Sinan. Celebrated as one of the finest examples of Ottoman architecture, Zeyrek Çinili Hamam has remained an enduring symbol of Istanbul's rich cultural heritage for more than five centuries.

After years of remaining hidden from public view, Zeyrek Çinili Hamam was brought back to Istanbul through a meticulous thirteen-year restoration led by The Marmara Group. Throughout the restoration process, architectural details, archaeological discoveries, and historical layers were carefully uncovered, preserving the monument while contributing valuable insights into Istanbul's rich cultural heritage.

Today, Zeyrek Çinili Hamam welcomes visitors as a distinguished destination where the timeless tradition of the Turkish bath is complemented by architectural heritage, a museum experience, and cultural programming.
